About Us

Born Different. Built Different.
We're not your typical apparel brand—but then again, you're not looking for typical, are you?
Kultureshot started in a garage somewhere between building hot rods and raising hell. We're a husband-and-wife team who've been partners in crime since we graduated high school way too many years ago to admit without feeling old. He's got an associate's degree in visual communication, a background in graphic design, late-diagnosed autism and ADHD, along with ankylosing spondylitis that's made the "normal" career path feel like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. She's fought her own battles with body image in a world obsessed with making women smaller in every sense of the word.
We grew up elbow-deep in engine grease, surrounded by classic cars, rockabilly rebels, and punks who taught us that conformity is overrated. After years of metal fabrication, custom builds, and never quite finding clothes that felt like us, we decided to make our own damn thing.
Our two neurodivergent kids (autism, ADHD, ODD—the whole beautiful chaos) remind us daily why this matters. Our LGBTQ+ family and friends show us that "different" comes in endless flavors, and they're all worth celebrating. We've lived on the edges of society our whole lives, and honestly? The view is better out here.
Kultureshot exists because we got tired of searching for apparel that understood us. Shirts that spoke to the misfits, the outcasts, the people who've been told they're "too much" or "not enough" their entire lives. We're here for the goths at the grocery store, the punks at the parent-teacher conference, the neurodivergent folks who refuse to mask, the women who take up space unapologetically, and anyone who's ever felt like they were born on the wrong planet.
We make graphic tees with bite—sarcastic, dark, empowering, and always a little bit sideways. From XS to 5XL, because revolution doesn't have a size limit. Every design comes from our lived experience of being beautifully, defiantly different.
So yeah, we're outcasts building apparel for outcasts. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Stay Strange,
